About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented LMS Administrator to play a key role in managing and optimizing our client's Learning Management System. You'll be instrumental in ensuring a seamless and effective learning experience for all users, with a particular focus on maximizing the capabilities of Workday LMS. You'll work closely with various teams to provide training, support, and strategic insights, contributing directly to the success of their learning initiatives.
Timeline: Starting ASAP for 6 months to one year.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Hourly Rate: $40/h
Location: This is a fully remote position for candidates based anywhere in the USA.
This is an hourly W2 Contract.

Responsibilities
Workday LMS System Ownership & Governance: Take ownership of the Workday LMS, establishing and maintaining comprehensive governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with industry regulations.
Process & System Design: Proactively identify needs and design, develop, and implement efficient processes and systems within Workday LMS for content management, user administration, learning pathways, and reporting. This includes creating and managing templates for courses, curricula, and communications to standardize operations.
Content & Curriculum Management: Efficiently upload, organize, and maintain all courses and curricula within the Workday LMS, ensuring content is always current, relevant, and adheres to established guidelines.
User Experience & Engagement: Continuously enhance the Workday LMS user experience by designing and implementing new features and functionalities. Simplify navigation and streamline processes to maximize usability and learner engagement.
Advanced Reporting & Analytics: Generate insightful reports and create interactive dashboards using tools like Workday reporting, Excel, Google Sheets, and/or Looker. Analyze Workday LMS data to track usage, identify trends, measure the overall effectiveness of learning programs, and provide strategic recommendations.
Training & Support Excellence: Deliver comprehensive training to various teams on how to effectively utilize the Workday LMS. Provide ongoing, responsive support to instructors and business units, troubleshooting complex issues, and assisting with course delivery within the Workday platform.
Coordination & Administration: Coordinate and schedule training sessions and events within Workday, manage LMS calendars, and ensure timely course enrollment and completion tracking.
System Integrity & Compliance Audits: Perform regular clean-up and maintenance of course materials and user data within Workday. Conduct thorough audits of the Workday LMS to ensure data integrity and strict compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., industry-specific regulatory bodies). Implement corrective actions promptly for any findings.
Best Practices Implementation: Research, recommend, and implement Workday LMS best practices to continuously improve our learning platform's efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
Requirements:
Expert Workday LMS Experience: Proven expert-level experience as an LMS Administrator with extensive, hands-on experience specifically with Workday Learning Management System.
Process & System Design Acumen: Demonstrated ability to create and implement robust processes, systems, and templates within an LMS, particularly within Workday.
Governance & Compliance Mindset: Strong understanding and practical experience in establishing and enforcing LMS governance, especially in highly regulated industries.
Highly Regulated Industry Experience: Experience working in highly regulated environments such as aviation, utilities, manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, or transportation is strongly preferred.
Deep Workday Expertise: Solid understanding of the broader Workday ecosystem and its integration with the Learning Management System capabilities.
LMS Best Practices: In-depth knowledge of LMS functionalities, administration, and the ability to implement industry best practices.
Advanced Data Proficiency: Expert proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, including Workday's native reporting capabilities, Excel, Google Sheets, and/or Looker. Ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
Adaptability & Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and evolving system features within Workday. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and independent approach to identifying and resolving complex issues.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
Self-Starter & Organized: An independent self-starter who can troubleshoot issues, find effective solutions with minimal direction, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
