About the role
This role is working directly with one of our clients in the Consumer Products industry. As a Learning Project Manager, you will serve as a pivotal leader responsible for orchestrating short-term integration projects within the Integration Management Office team. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven expertise in project management, particularly in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, fostering collaboration across diverse teams, and driving results within defined timelines and budgets. The Learning Project Manager will possess a strong foundation in project management methodologies, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity effectively.

SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be: technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally available during established working hours. 

This is a ~3-month contract for 40 hours per week, starting as early as October and continuing through year-end, with the potential to renew for an additional 3-6 months, and could potentially continue for upwards of 3 years, based on client need and satisfaction.

Hourly Rate

  • $60/hour


Responsibilities 

Essential functions include:  

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline development, budgeting, and stakeholder alignment, ensuring delivery against strategic objectives and within agreed constraints
  • Proficient in leading projects using diverse methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid approaches, tailored to project scope and stakeholder needs.
  • Develop detailed project charters, timelines, and resource plans, incorporating critical success factors and risk assessments.
  • Utilize the Stage & Gate framework and project management systems to ensure disciplined project execution, data-driven decision-making, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, business units, and external vendors to align project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and external partners.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage expectations and foster a collaborative environment that encourages transparency and accountability.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

  • Skilled in RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and risk management best practices, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Escalate issues and risks to relevant stakeholders and senior leadership, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen challenges during project execution.

Technical & Process Governance

  • Support the integration of new systems or processes into existing operational frameworks.
    • Oversee item setup, tracking, and troubleshooting through the GTM (Go-to-Market) process to facilitate smooth project transitions.  

Required Skills 

  • Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record in managing innovation or integration projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications; PRINCE2 or PMP certification preferred to demonstrate structured project governance and delivery excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience with Idea to Market - end-to-end process.  
    • Preferred experience in comprehensive, end-to-end management of a product's entire journey, from the initial concept or idea to its delivery.
