About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) to play a key role in the development and delivery of a certification program focused on Microsoft Generative AI Engineering Professional. In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise with Microsoft Azure AI tools and generative AI models to shape a hands-on, project-based curriculum that empowers junior to intermediate developers to build, fine-tune, and deploy generative AI solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies.

You will collaborate with learning experience designers to create and validate training materials, hands-on labs, and real-world projects that reflect current industry practices and align with Microsoft’s Responsible AI guidelines. Your contributions will ensure learners gain practical skills in working with GANs, large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, and multimodal AI integrations (text, image, video) within the Azure ecosystem.

This role requires a passion for education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, actionable learning experiences. You will help ensure the curriculum is relevant, ethical, and prepares learners for real-world AI engineering challenges.

This is a 6-month freelance contract, offering up to 30 hours per week. We're targeting a start date in mid to late June 2025. Onboarding will be compensated at $250, not to exceed 10 hours. The hourly rate for post-onboarding work is negotiable.

As this is a freelance position, we're seeking individuals with a proven track record of successfully managing freelance engagements and multiple client relationships.
