About the Role
Are you a highly reliable administrative professional looking to apply your expertise to a meaningful mission? Our team is seeking a dedicated Freelance Admin Support to provide essential assistance to a key U.S. government client. You will be responsible for handling critical administrative tasks, from real property accountability to installation management, in a dynamic environment.
This is a full-time, onsite 1099 position in San Antonio, TX, with an anticipated immediate start date and an end date of July 2026.
- Work Hours: Standard business hours will apply, with a work week of 40 hours.
- Travel: This position may require occasional travel.
- Hourly Rate: Market level
Responsibilities
- Provide expert administrative assistance to support the client's mission, ensuring highly reliable and credible support.
- Handle various administrative tasks, including task management, timekeeping, and assisting with federal reporting requirements.
- Schedule meetings, prepare and duplicate presentation materials, create agendas, and review/edit documents.
- Accurately take and file meeting minutes as requested by the client.
- Manage and maintain the client's SharePoint site and the client's file plan as directed by management.
- Learn and utilize government-furnished programs and software to complete tasks and attend meetings via web-based platforms.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Proven administrative experience in a professional office setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including a strong understanding of SharePoint and Teams.
- Experience or knowledge of working in a structured, military, or similar highly-regulated government environment is a plus.
- Strong aptitude for learning new technical and non-technical concepts and government programs to complete assigned tasks.
