About The Role
We are seeking a senior-level Product Launch Strategist to serve as a strategic consultant and subject matter expert for our clients' product launch initiatives. This role combines deep expertise in product marketing with exceptional client engagement skills to develop comprehensive launch strategies that drive measurable business results. The ideal candidate will partner with clients to define ambitious yet achievable goals for their product launches while providing ongoing strategic guidance throughout the launch lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting & Client Engagement
- Partner with C-level executives and senior marketing leaders to understand business objectives, market positioning, and competitive landscape
- Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to assess client readiness, resources, and market opportunities
- Develop customized product launch frameworks tailored to client industry, target audience, and business goals
- Present strategic recommendations and gain stakeholder alignment on launch objectives and success metrics
Launch Strategy Development
- Create comprehensive go-to-market strategies that encompass positioning, messaging, channel strategy, and timing
- Define clear, measurable goals for launch performance including revenue targets, market penetration, brand awareness, and customer acquisition metrics
- Develop detailed launch roadmaps with key milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
- Design testing and validation frameworks to optimize launch performance
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, threats, and optimal timing for product launches
- Analyze competitive landscape and develop differentiation strategies
- Assess market readiness and identify potential barriers to adoption
- Provide insights on pricing strategy, distribution channels, and partnership opportunities
Performance Planning & Measurement
- Establish KPI frameworks and success metrics aligned with business objectives
- Design measurement and attribution models to track launch performance across all channels
- Create reporting dashboards and regular performance review processes
- Develop optimization strategies based on performance data and market feedback
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product development, sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure launch readiness
- Coordinate with creative agencies, media partners, and other external stakeholders
- Facilitate alignment between client teams and ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints
- Provide guidance on resource allocation and budget optimization
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 7+ years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or marketing strategy roles
- Minimum 3+ years in a consulting or client-facing capacity
- Proven track record of successfully launching products across multiple categories and market segments
- Experience working with senior executives and managing high-stakes client relationships
Skills & Expertise
- Deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, customer acquisition, and product positioning
- Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, competitive analysis, and performance measurement
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM platforms, and project management software
- Experience with both B2B and B2C launch strategies preferred

Success in this role will be measured by:

- Quality and strategic value of launch recommendations
- Internal stakeholder feedback and collaboration effectiveness
This role requires occasional travel for client meetings and may involve working across multiple time zones to accommodate client needs.
