About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Learning Experience Designer (LXD) with a strong background in the Pharmaceutical industry (Pharma Sales training experience preferred) to support a major global client. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional seeking a flexible freelance consulting opportunity.
- Contract Type: 1099 Freelance (or CtoC with your own LLC, LTD, or Inc.)
- Capacity: This role features an "ebb and flow" schedule, with hours anticipated to range from 0 to 25 per week depending on project needs.
- Duration: Initial 6-month contract (through October 31, 2026), with a likely extension into 2027
- Location: 100% Remote
- Start Date: ASAP, may require a Criminal background check
SweetRush is a remote organization; all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, and be comfortable with virtual messaging and conferencing tools.
Hourly Range
- Hourly Rate: $50-65/hour USD Commensurate upon skills and experience.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-impact learning solutions tailored for the pharmaceutical sector.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex clinical and sales information into engaging content.
- Support high-velocity project phases, including the rapid development of workshop materials (e.g., contributing to a series of 8 workshops).
- Maintain "team chemistry" by collaborating effectively with the Custom Learning team and Project Managers in a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring - Required Skills
- Pharma Industry Expertise: Proven experience designing learning materials specifically for pharmaceutical clients.
- Agile Mindset: Ability to handle project fluctuations and meet tight deadlines (e.g., delivering significant work volumes within 2-month sprints).
- Instructional Design Mastery: Experience as an Instructional Designer or LXD with a portfolio of diverse learning assets.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to work seamlessly in a remote environment using modern collaboration tools: Articulate Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite
- AI Fluency: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI no-code tools and create Gemini Gems to be used as a thought partner for creative and workflow enhancement (not as a substitute for human decision-making)
- Language: Professional fluency in English is required.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Pharma Sales training.
- AI & Emerging Tech: Interest or experience in utilizing AI tools and "vibe coding" to enhance development workflow
